Creating a Safe Haven
VOICES of Stephenson County is making history and expanding its scope as we open the VOICES Survivors Shelter late this summer in our Freeport headquarters. It will be the first shelter in Stephenson County devoted solely to survivors of domestic and sexual violence and will provide emergency, short-term assistance.
Features include the comforts of home:
- 5 bedrooms with bathrooms
- kitchen and dining area
- living room
- rec room
- outdoor space
- laundry facilities
A fundraising campaign is under way to equip the VOICES Survivors Shelter and help sustain it for the future.
Gifts of all sizes are welcome.
